How will I operate my
awning?
|
|
All Patio Awnings are manually
operated with a removable crank handle and gearbox as standard.
However, many customers prefer to automate their awning with a motor
and control system from Somfy, the world leader in the automatic
movement of solar protection systems. Automation makes the awning
easier to use and more reliable, eliminating wear and tear, which
will lengthen it's life.

|
|
Somfy offers a wide range of automation options for your awning, ranging from a simple, push
button control; one button for 'Up', another for 'Down' and a third
in the centre to stop the awning in an intermediate position, to a
fully automatic wireless system with sun and wind sensors. The
Soliris Sensor RTS will monitor the weather, providing shading when
needed and retracting the awning when strong winds are threatening.
What's more, thanks to Somfy's new concept in wireless technology, a
simple connection to the mains supply is all that the motor and
sensor require, meaning there is no ugly cabling or control boxes to
disturb the interior decor or external facade of your home.
If you still need to be convinced, Somfy offer a straightforward
five year guarantee on all their products. If any Somfy product,
correctly installed, fails within 5 years, they will repair or
replace it free of charge.
